Interesting post.. to be brief..

... All of these films have been preserved.

... If it's good, and if it's rare, and if I want it, I'll buy it. It's also going to a good cause, Net proceeds from the set support further film preservation. Which means a lot to me actually. I have SEEN in action the work the George Eastman house does, as I was lucky enough to have a private tour there last year. I got to go into the archival vault itself. It was amazing, and probably one of the most fulfilling moments of my life.

Let be also known that I'm not a rich man, It is expensive, but it's worth saving up for.

And I get books from my library too. :)

Spuzz OK . This started because I merely said the the dvd,s are expensive , they are. Reading your last post, I appreciate your position and I wish that you had said so at the start. This does not alter the validity of my previous remarks or validaate the arrogance or pomposity of the people marketing the dvd,s. They have taken property that belongs to everyone and put it into a new package which due to copyright is forbidden to poor peoplefor the next 70 or more years. Disgusting.
